SL Benfica have agreed to sign UD Leiria's 20-year-old forward Jorge Djaniny, who will join the UEFA Champions League contenders on a five-year deal in the summer.

Djaniny, whose contract will keep him in Lisbon until June 2017, has impressed this term after making the step up to the Portuguese top flight in the summer from lower league club GD Valense. The Cape Verde-born striker has scored twice in 13 league appearances, and most recently played in the 4-0 defeat by Benfica which took the Eagles top of the standings, two points clear of FC Porto, for the first time this campaign.
