Patrice Evra: Wants team-mates like Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand to bounce back
Patrice Evra has warned his Manchester United team-mates they must not throw away their season after the shock UEFA Champions League exit at the hands of FC Basel.
United needed only a draw against their Swiss hosts to clinch a last 16 place, but a surprise 2-1 defeat condemned them to Europa League football in the New Year.Now French defender Evra insists the Red Devils cannot dwell on their failure to progress from the group stage for only the second time in 15 years.The defending champions trail Premier League leaders Manchester City by five points and host struggling Wolves at Old Trafford on Saturday."We have got to get back and get focused on the Premier League.
