Samir Nasri: Making his first return to Arsenal as a Manchester City player
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger does not want Tuesday's Carling Cup clash with Manchester City to be about Samir Nasri's return.
The France international was a firm fans' favourite during his time at the Emirates Stadium prior to joining Roberto Mancini's side before the transfer window closed.Tuesday's cup clash will be the first time Nasri has returned to Arsenal since his transfer to City and Wenger believes he deserves the fans' respect.Wenger does not want any negativity towards the 24-year-old playmaker taking away potential support from the home faithful towards backing their own team.RespectLive on Sky Sports

"You want to respect the players who have played for us, that is what we expect," Wenger said.
"But it is always more important to support our team on Tuesday night, than to be negative towards the players of Manchester City.
"What is important is we are united to win the game."
Atmosphere
Arsenal are expecting a bumper crowd for the quarter-final tie against the Premier League leaders and the French tactician believes that will all help with a positive atmosphere.
"In the Carling Cup, we have different people here, many who are very young," said the Gunners boss.
"We make the prices very cheap for young people and you feel there is a happiness to be there on the night and hopefully we can keep them happy."
Wenger added: "The championship is more important than the Carling Cup, but on the night we will want to win the game.
"It is important to keep our run going because every win makes us stronger, so we will not go out there not caring about winning."
