Roberto Martinez: Laments loss to Bolton but remains hopeful of better results in the future

Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez has lamented his side's home defeat to Bolton Wanderers on Saturday but is delighted with the return to full fitness of Hugo Rodallega.

The Latics went down 3-1 to Bolton at the DW Stadium in the Premier League to slip to second from bottom in the table with just five points from eight matches.Martinez is understandably frustrated with his side's poor result in front of their own supporters but is glad to have fielded forward Rodallega at the break following his comeback from a knee injury suffered against Queens Park Rangers."The defeat is not because we are not good enough, the defeat is because we got heavily punished for our decisions and that is what we have to correct - and we have to do it quickly," he said."It was great to see Hugo back," he added. "We expected him to be out for three or four months but he worked really hard."He is not fully fit but we needed his enthusiasm and his magic touch."BeliefMartinez further enthused his belief in his players to bounce back from Saturday's loss and pick up wins in the subsequent games."We are starting to see players come back from injury now and we need a bit of stability," he said."I feel there were many good things not reflected in the scoreline that will allow us to get good results in the upcoming weeks."
