Warnock rues defensive error

Neil Warnock was disappointed with the manner in which QPR conceded Blackburn's equaliser from a corner.

The Rs took the game to Rovers at Loftus Road and were rewarded for their attacking style of play when Heidar Helguson chipped Paul Robinson in the 16th minute. However that lead did not last too long as Blackburn skipper Chris Samba rose above Fitz Hall to guide his header home from Jason Lowe's perfect delivery in the first half. The result is a common theme for Rangers this season who have yet to record their first home win of this season's Premier League campaign."I thought against Villa and Newcastle we should've got the full points but that's life isn't it, you can't moan," Warnock told Sky Sports.Disappointing"It's disappointing to lose any goal but when you don't have to work for it, it's even more so."Warnock was forced to shuffle his team around following a midweek injury to DJ Campbell and Helguson started alongside Jamie Mackie who had recovered from a double leg break he suffered against the same opposition in the FA Cup."Unfortunately DJ had an accident in training and so he was going to start, but I thought Heidar did ever so well today, I thought he took his opportunity well," Warnock said.On Mackie he added: "I just felt like giving him that incentive, he's worked ever so hard and he never stopped trying and it's good to see him back in the team."Crowd-pleaser Adel Taarabt also started on the bench but could have snatched it for the hosts when he came on and was later floored by a Michel Salgado challenge in the box. When asked about the penalty claim, Warnock added: "He should probably make more of a meal of it I think. I saw some of the free-kicks in the second half and I thought they made a meal of some things and I thought the referee gave them in that situation."
