Villarreal CF have been dealt an injury blow ahead of their UEFA Champions League Group A trip to SSC Napoli on Tuesday with the news that forward Marco Ruben will be out for around three weeks with a broken toe.
The 24-year-old came on to replace Guiseppe Rossi, an injury doubt himself after suffering a bruised left knee, during Saturday's 1-1 draw at Athletic Club and now faces a race to prove his fitness for the Matchday three contest at Manchester City FC on 18 October.
