Borussia Dortmund's Germany left-back Marcel Schmelzer looks to be a serious doubt for the UEFA Champions League Group F game at Olympique de Marseille on Wednesday week.

Schmelzer, 23, suffered a thigh tear during Dortmund's 2-1 defeat away to Hannover 96 in the Bundesliga on Sunday.
